Who is behind this site

Edited by Steven Butler, who built this site after being refused PIP and awarded it at tribunal.

I worked all my life as an agricultural engineer. When a back problem meant I had to claim benefits for the first time, I had no idea how the system worked. I gave them everything they asked for, including test results, doctors' notes and MRI details, and I was still refused PIP. After months of appeals I reached a tribunal. It took about five minutes. I was told the claim should never have been refused, and I was awarded PIP. I built Know Your Rights UK so that nobody else has to work it out alone.
